Transformational Small Churches Webcast

Monday 2nd August, 2010

This recent research about Transformational Churches had findings that impact Sunday School and small group work in our churches. Because of that fact, I want to encourage pastors of small churches to participate in this event. Even though the webcast is on a weekday, some of you can make the trip to LifeWay Christian Resources in Nashville or can get online from 10 AM - 4 PM. The free resources available onsite may make the trip to Nashville worth the time and money.

If you have not yet picked up your copy of Transformational Churches by Thom Rainer and Ed Stetzer, you will want to do so. In fact, it will likely help inform your participation in the event if you read it in advance.

  • Title:               Transformational Small Churches
  • Date:               Tuesday, September 7, 2010
  • Time:              10 AM – 4 PM (Central Time)
  • Cost online:     Free online just go to www.LifeWay.com/TheExchange the day of the webcast
  • Cost onsite:     $10/per person (includes lunch)
LifeWay will broadcast from a larger space inside LifeWay Christian Resources, One LifeWay Plaza, Nashville, TN, for this webcast to make room for pastors who would like to participate onsite. They want you to register ahead of time at www.LifeWay.com/TheExchange (for both online or onsite). LifeWay will offer free resources to those who attend the onsite location.

While several topics are on the agenda for the day, this will be highly interactive. Online and onsite participants will be able to submit questions in person and through Twitter and the webcast chat feature throughout the day.

Pastors, DOMs, or others who are interested, are encouraged to gather a group together and watch live on big screens together. Plan to take the lunch and break times to discuss the content. Keep in mind that the schedule is Central Time.

If you have any questions, contact Lizette Beard (Project Manager, LifeWay Research) at LBeard@lifeway.com or (615) 251-2228.
